Gennaro Rubino was an Italian political activist, died in Leuven Prison, after attempting to assassinate King Leopold II. Leopold was an evil tyran and was responsible for many attrocities in the Belgian Congo, he was also responsable for the murders of six Belgian workers slain on the streets of Leuven to whom Gennaro swore vengeance.
Gennaro Rubino was a working class hero who gave his life for his beliefs, i am proud to be related to this honorable man, his legacy lives on in England |
