Alarming increases of cancer and birt defects have been reported since 1991 Gulf War. So many children were dying that "Graveyard for Children" took shape in Basra (southern Iraq). DU burns upon impact, producing fine uranium oxide dust, which is chemically toxic and radioactive. DU dust can be inhaled and absorbed into human body-and children are the most susceptible to its hazards. DU weapons are inhumane weapons that cause indiscriminate damage. (Dec. 2002, Basra.
