London: a silent march through Londen from Marble Arch to the German Embassy was organised today by members of the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and women, in protest at signs of Nazi resurgence in Europe. A letter of protest was presented for the German Ambassador at the Embassy. Members of the public also joined the March, and other organisations connected with the last war. Photo shows: Some of the marchers in today's parade, including Dr. Claudette Kennedy, honorary secretary of the association of Nazi Camp Survivors, Gt. Britain and Northern Ireland. Dr. Kennedy (the lady in striped garments in the centre) is wearing the dress she says she wore in Auschwitz Camp, where she was imprisoned during the war." |
